Amber Christy Jones, beloved grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed from this life on September 18, 2024, at age 81.

On January 20, 1943, Amber was the first of 5 children.  She was born at her family home in Palo Verde, Arizona and lived the majority of

her life in Santa Maria, California.

She attended Santa Maria High School, graduating in 1961. While living in Mississippi, Amber went back to college with her daughter

Christy. One of her proudest accomplishments was graduating at the age of 72.

She married the love of her life, Richard (Dick) on March 29, 1968 in Santa Barbara, California.

Grandchildren:

Amber was very proud of being the grandmother of 9, the great-grandmother of 19, and great great-grandmother of 1.

She is preceded in death by parents: Weldon B Harvey and Billie (Thompson) Harvey and siblings:Donald Harvey and Judith (Harvey) Gentry

Amber was proud of her strong work ethic and dedication to her children/family and friends. She strived to be that person who made

a difference, to help those that needed it. She often questioned if she could do more. Those that knew her, know she succeeded.

Amber's sense of humor, at time was hard to understand, but her 'peppery' disposition proved how much she loved you.
