A. C. Lang, born March 4, 1937, in DeKalb, Kemper County, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2024 at the age of 87. He was the son of Urban Clarence Lang and Beatrice Kemp Lang of DeKalb.

A. C. was preceded in death by five sisters—Ruby May Weaver (1980), Loraine Mosley (2023), Louise Newell, Leona Smith (2012), and Mary Alice Lang Stewart and four brothers: Clarence Junior Lang, Frank "Buster" Lang, and Gilbert Ray Lang. He is survived by one brother, Raymond Lang of DeKalb, Mississippi.

He leaves behind three children: James Michael Puckett of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Mark Andrew Puckett of Wesson, Mississippi; and Christina Jane Westmoreland of Hickory, Mississippi. A. C. was also blessed with five grandchildren: Katie N. Westmoreland, Blake Puckett, Benjamin Puckett, Dylan Puckett, and the late Rachel Ann Westmoreland.

In addition to his children and grandchildren, A. C.'s life was marked by love for his family and cherished memories shared with those closest to him. He was preceded in death by one son, Baby Lang.

A. C.'s legacy lives on through his surviving family members and all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those he leaves behind.
